Mainly made with Grenache and Syrah grapes, this Côtes du Rhône is organically produced. With its pretty red robe, its supple and well-balanced palate as well as its velvety tanins, do not hesitate to taste it on any occasion !
This organic Côtes du Rhône is a blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes from clayey limestone soils from Vaucluse. The grapes have been planted and cultivated according to the rules of the organic agriculture and have been certified by Ecocert, an international organic certification agency.
Each grape variety is vinified individually to develop its own characteristics. The vatting lasts 3 to 4 weeks according to grape variety. The wine is racked off and undergoes malolactic fermentation. Different grape varieties are blended. The ageing in vats lasts for 6 months before bottling.
Crimson robe with purple nuances. The nose is seductive with hints of cherries and spices. The palate is elegant, round with a spicy finish.
It will pair nicely with cooked meats, game, grilled meat and strong cheese. Enjoy it now or cellar for up to 5 years.
The name of this organic cuvée refets to Saint François d’Assise, saint patron of ecologists and nature’s friends.
