Terroir:
The grapes come from our parcel named "Garance" on sandy loam soil. A well-drained soil that produces a rich and intense Merlot.
Winemaking:
After an important follow-up work carried out in the parcel to obtain perfectly healthy grapes at optimum maturity, the harvest took place on September 4, 2018. The grapes were immediately pressed and placed in vats. The alcoholic fermentation, deliberately short (10 days) was done under neutral atmosphere with daily pumping over.
Vinification without added sulphites.
Vegan Friendly.
Tasting notes:
A very generous "nature" style with a fine, juicy structure. Fresh and charming with intense aromas of red fruits.
Service & food pairing suggestions:
Store in a cool and dry place away from light.
Best enjoyed young.
Ideally open 1 or 2 hours before serving to oxygenate the wine and reveal its aromas.
