Domaine de Longue Toque

Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu

Appellation d'origine protégée

Of the 27 ha. of the Domaine de Longue Toque, 2 ha. are in the AOP Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu. On this plateau, situated between Orange, Violès and Camaret, the vineyards are spread out on an alluvial terrace dating from the “Quaternary” period (recent to 2.6 million years ago), composed of clay and limestone pebbles. Grenache and Syrah grapes planted in this terroir produce rich and spicy wines.

Plan de dieu
Harmonious & Elegant

Relatively cool and rainy Spring allowed for a steady development of the vine. Until the eve of the harvest, important work was necessary in the vineyard to ensure good sanitary conditions. The harvest began the second week of September but, due to a rain spell, was briefly delayed in order to reach full maturity.

Yield: 20hl / ha.
