The parcels are leveled into espaliers on a calcareous clay soil. They benefit from a moderate altitude (300m) and temperate Mediterranean climate.

Gabriel Meffre's history is intimately bound to wines of Provence as he has been the owner of a domaine in the Côtes de Provence since 1969. Afterward, the Gabriel Meffre winery has always proposed Côtes de Provence rosé, as a complement to its mainly red wines from the Rhône Valley.
