The Languedoc is the oldest wine producing region in France. The Languedoc stretches from the banks of the Rhône River in the east to the city of Carcassonne in the west, and from the first foothills of the Massif Central Mountains in the north to the Mediterranean coast in the south.
The grapes are selected and harvested at optimum ripeness to preserve the rich varietal character. They are then de-stemmed and crushed and the juice fermented at controlled temperature. The wine is matured several months in tank before bottling.
A brilliant, dark-red colour with a rich and spicy nose. This Merlot will seduce you with its blackberry and plum flavours and long, generous finish.
Perfect match for BBQ, with hamburgers, lasagne and much more!
