Vasqueyras
Domaine de Longue Toque

Vacqueyras - Red - 2012

92/100 – Wine Advocater Robert Parker

“Blend of Grenache (70%) and Syrah (30%), the 2012 Vacqueyras is a fresh, lively and pure effort that gives up complex spice, blackberry, meat, licorice and crushed rock-like minerality on the nose. Showing the vintage purity and suppleness nicely, it possesses clean, classical aromas and flavors”.

COUP DE COEUR 16/20 – Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2017

This cuvée is a micro selection of 4ha of the oldest Grenaches of the Domaine (60 to 100 years old) on sandy marl of the Oligocene period. This grape/terroir combination is unique within the Gigondas appellation and gives a rich and vibrant wine with great depth and complexity, structured for long-term ageing.

Gigondas - Red - 2013

92/100 – Wine Advocate Robert Parker

“The 2013 Gigondas is a split of equal parts Grenache and Syrah with the Grenache aged all in vats and the Syrah in barrel. It’s another serious effort and gives up beautiful cassis, black raspberry, chocolate, scorched earth and licorice. A thrilling texture, shockingly good in this vintage. Will drink nicely for upwards of a decade.”

Gigondas Lieu-dit Les Trois Yeux - Red - 2017

***(*) - Drink Rhone

"(casks) dark robe; the nose has a curvy, appealing black berry aroma, its purity an asset. It carries the sunny ripeness of the vintage, some smokiness. The palate gives raspberry fruit with squeezy tannins, hints at the smooth texture derived from a high degree. This is straightforward Gigondas with sound fruiting." - John Livingstone-Learmonth - Drink Rhone - Dec. 2018

89      The Wine Advocate

"A new single-vineyard offering from a plot high in the Dentelles (400-450 meters above sea level), the 2017 Gigondas lieu-dit les Trois Yeux is 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, aged in demi-muids. While full-bodied, it lacks a bit of textural richness on the mid-palate to support its bold flavors of licorice, stone fruit and mint, then finishes on notes of cedar and brown sugar." Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate - Aug 2019

95       Jeb Dunnuck

"The 2017 Gigondas Lieu-Dit Les Trois Yeux comes from a higher elevation parcel of limestone soils and is 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah aged 16 months in once-used demi-muids. It has an exotic bouquet of dark fruits, red plums, ground pepper, and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and with both richness and elegance, it’s another thrilling wine from this estate that’s going to keep for over a decade. It’s a brilliant Gigondas." Jeb Dunnuck - Sep 2019

Plan de dieu
Domaine de Longue Toque

Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu - Red - 2014

91/100   Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

"The 2014 Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu (50/50 Grenache and Syrah) is a terrific wine in the vintage, as well as a smoking value. Notes of black cherries, licorice, lavender and roasted herbs all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, seamless, complex and already superb 2014 that’s ideal for drinking over the coming 4-6 years." "Tasted out of barrel, the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Plan de Dieu is a medium-bodied, elegant red that offers classic notes of black raspberries, ground herbs, earth and a hint of flowers. It has good overall balance and will certainly be an enjoyable wine." Reviewed by Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate-Robert Parker, 30th December 2016.

"What should be a step up over the 2013, the 2014 Vacqueyras has lots of Provencal herbs, violets, pepper and sweet Grenache fruit in a medium-bodied, forward and balanced style that will be hard to resist on release. The winemaking is impeccable and it will be a solid value geared for near term drinking." - Reviewed by Jeb Dunnuck, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, 9th Nov. 2015
