From the repentance of the Knight of Sterimber during the 13th century, to the exceptional situation of its vineyards, Hermitage is a legendary Cru. Our Laurus Hermitage white honors this reputation with a 100% Marsanne exhaling all the qualities of a great wine.

Manual harvest. Fermentation is initiated in tank before the whole cuvée is placed in 275lt Laurus oak barrels, both new and 1-year old, to finish the alcoholic fermentation followed by the malo-lactic fermentation. The wine then age 15 months on fine lees.

The name « Hermitage » comes from the legend of the Knight of Sterimberg. Returning from a Crusade, he repented for his years of warmongering by becoming a hermit, devoting himself to prayer and growing vines on top of the hills of Tain.
