Owned by Maison Gabriel Meffre since the beginning of the 2000s, Domaine de Longue Toque became one of the references of the Gigondas appellation in the space of just a few years. We are proud of the work carried out by our teams to develop our practices and expertise. After working in accordance with the principles of the “Terra Vitis – Agriculture Raisonnée” quality label for more than a decade, the 2020 vintage is set to be the first to be certified “Agriculture Biologique” (Organic Agriculture)!

Everything you’ve ever wanted to know about… Mourvèdre!

A black grape originating from Spain where it is known as Monastrell, Mourvèdre all but disappeared after the Great French Wine Blight in the second half of the 19th century despite the swathes of plantings across the Mediterranean region. Known for its small and irregular yield, the variety is a popular crop once more, demanding gentle viticultural practices. In blends, it lends character to wines from the Rhône Valley.
